We advocate for change in the energy sector, on behalf of residential and small business electricity consumers. We aim to create a fairer industry for everyone, and empower people to make informed choices about their energy use and supply.
The Consumer Advocacy Council is the independent advocate for residential and small business electricity consumers in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Council is governed by a board made up of a maximum of 6 members, including the Chair. They are supported in their work by a Secretariat, who provide administrative and research services to the Council as required.
